Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and [FILL: legal entity name], registered in [FILL: country] ("we", "us").

1. The service

WhatsTIG ("the service") lets you link WhatsApp accounts you control and use them through a dashboard, a REST API and webhooks.

WhatsTIG is not affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta. It uses an unofficial implementation of the WhatsApp Web multi-device protocol. As a result:

• WhatsApp may restrict, suspend or ban accounts used with the service, at its sole discretion.
• Protocol changes may interrupt the service without notice.
• Message delivery is never guaranteed. A status of QUEUED means a message was accepted for processing, not that it was delivered.

You use the service with these risks understood and accepted.

2. Your accounts and numbers

You may only link WhatsApp accounts that you own or are authorized to operate. You are responsible for everything sent from linked accounts, including messages sent through your API keys by your own applications or by your customers.

3. Acceptable use

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy, WhatsApp's own terms, and all laws that apply to you and your recipients, including consent, anti-spam and data-protection laws.

4. API keys and security

Keep API keys secret and on servers you control. Revoke compromised keys immediately. We may revoke keys or suspend projects that put the platform or other customers at risk.

5. Customer data

You remain the controller of the personal data you process through the service; we act as your processor as described in the Privacy Policy. You can configure message-content retention per project and delete data at any time.

6. Plans, limits and fees

Plans set limits (numbers, messages, API requests, retention). Usage is metered as documented. The free plan is self-service. Paid plans are activated by us on request and invoiced [FILL: monthly/annually] in advance in [FILL: currency]; fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Taxes are added where applicable.

If your organization was created for you by a partner product (for example Edutig), messages included with that product are provided under your agreement with that partner and are added to your WhatsTIG plan.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted operation, particularly given its dependency on WhatsApp.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for account restrictions imposed by WhatsApp, lost messages, or indirect damages.

9. Termination

You may close your organization at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On closure, linked devices are unlinked and data is deleted after the documented grace period.

10. Changes

We will notify you of material changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [FILL: governing law]. The courts of [FILL: venue] have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
